Every terminal displays one of four real-time status badges:
| Status Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Online (Connected) | The physical device is paired, powered on, and maintaining an active SignalR WebSocket connection. |
| Offline | The device is paired, but its browser is currently closed, powered off, or disconnected from Wi-Fi/LAN. |
| Unpaired | The logical terminal has been created, but has not yet been linked to physical hardware via an 8-character code or QR scan. |
| Out of Order (Disabled) | Manually disabled by an administrator. The physical screen displays a friendly maintenance overlay, and the terminal frees up its active slot in your plan quota. |
